Bee grew up sewing from a very young age, learning from a long line of family seamstresses. Her interest in sewing and costume grew while she was at the University of Pennsylvania's Theatre Arts Program, as she worked on various costume teams and learned the ins and outs of costume and fashion design. 

Bee's philosophy of fashion as a form of self expression is reflected in the care she takes to work closely with each client to capture their spirit and essence in the garments. 

Bee has designed and created garments for theatrical productions, costume parties, drag performances, everyday women's fashion, and formal evening wear events.
